Concept/Prototype

This helicopter is based on a proposal called Compound Coaxial Helicopter (CCH) developed by AVX for the JMR program of the US Army, a precursor to the FARA program. In partnership with L3, AVX later proposed a FARA concept sharing features with the earlier JMR proposal but with smaller dimensions and different visual design. However, in 2024 the FARA program was cancelled as the military conflict in Ukraine showed that unmanned system proved more effective on the battlefield.
