Unfortunately, so many different languages adds a lot of overhead when it comes to maintaining the translations which means many of the texts are missing or incomplete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every new language also requires more storage and processing power, for example, due to how the full-text search is currently implemented, every new language slows down the indexing process considerably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unfortunately due to this, we are dropping support for the following languages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Ti\u1ebfng Vi\u1ec7t (vi)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Espa\u00f1ol (es)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deutsch (de)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u0e20\u0e32\u0e29\u0e32\u0e44\u0e17\u0e22 (th)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Portugu\u00eas (pt)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Arabic (ar)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Italiano (it)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bahasa Melayu (ms)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u0939\u093f\u0928\u094d\u0926\u0940 (hi)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>MW Stats will continue to be available in the following languages:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>English (en)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u7b80\u4f53\u4e2d\u6587 (zh-hans)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u7e41\u9ad4\u4e2d\u6587 (zh-hant)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>bahasa Indonesia (id)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u0420\u0443\u0441\u0441\u043a\u0438\u0439 (ru)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud55c\uad6d\uc5b4 (ko)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\u65e5\u672c\u8a9e (ja)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are the most popular and most complete translations which is why we are keeping them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We apologise for the inconvenience to those using the removed languages.
