Real
YJ-17 is a Chinese anti-ship ballistic missile carrying a hypersonic glide vehicle (HGV) as its warhead. Mounted above a rocket booster, the glide vehicle continues to its target unpowered, maneuvering on aerodynamic forces to complicate interception. It is launched from surface ships and appears to be based on the DF-17, China's first operational ballistic missile with an HGV. The missile was first unveiled in 2025 during the Victory Day parade, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.
