Nilgiri-class, also known as Project-17 Alpha (P-17A) is a class of stealth frigates being built for the Indian Navy. The first ship of the class, INS Nilgiri, was commissioned in 2025. The ship is named after the Nilgiri mountain range in India. A total of seven ships are planned for this class.
