USS Defiant (BBG-1) is the planned lead ship of the Trump-class, a battleship design announced by the Trump administration in late 2025. It would be the first US battleship built in nearly a century, the last being the Iowa-class of World War II. Some analysts, including the CSIS, have questioned the battleship classification, arguing that the ship is closer to a cruiser in size and role. Construction of the lead ship is expected in the 2030s. In the game, the ship is classified as a cruiser, and the concept art's image of Donald Trump is replaced with a red hat bearing a political slogan.
