USS Michael Monsoor (DDG-1001) is the second ship of the Zumwalt-class destroyers of the United States Navy. She was commissioned in 2019 and is named after Michael Monsoor, a Marine who was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. In the game, the AGS (Advanced Gun System) is incorrectly depicted as a railgun, in reality this cannon uses a conventional shell with a guidance kit, called a Long Range Land Attack Projectile (LRLAP).
