First of all, I want to apologize for the delay in updating MW Stats. I have been suffering from a severe case of flu which means I have not had the required time and energy to update MW Stats in time. However, thankfully it seems like I’m now recovering so MW Stats has been updated to reflect the latest December 2023 update (v0.74), also known as Winter Standoff.

This update introduces new ships, aircraft, and weapons in the game, along with other improvements such as Hindi and Filipino language support. We are working on adding Hindi language option to MW Stats in the near future.

Updated map: Lost City

The Lost City map has seen a major update. Previously this map featured only an empty ocean with destructable buildings in the middle. This made it difficult to find cover. In the new version, there are still submerged buildings and the iconic tornado, but new islands have been added. This makes it easier to hide and find cover and encourages more strategic gameplay.

Below you can find a comparison of the old and new layout.

Ships

USS Michael Monsoor (DDG-1001)

This is a sister ship of USS Zumwalt (DDG-1000). The Michael Monsoor stats like health, speed and radar range are slightly downgraded all around but the ship has much-improved firepower with one additional missile slot, torpedoes and a locked air defense system with improved range.

The ship features a locked Norweigian missile called NSM (Naval Strike Missile). This system fires two missiles at a time that start at a very slow speed but accelerate quickly. However, it’s damage, reload and speed are middle-of-the-road and very comparable to CHAMP. Despite this, it’s still a reliable damage dealer.

Instead of a railgun, this Zumwalt-class destroyer is equipped with AGS-155 (Advanced Gun System) with a long-range and high-velocity projectiles. In real life, the AGS is only capable of firing Long Range Land Attack Projectile (LRLAP) ammunition, a type of guided shell. However, the Pentagon cancelled the LRAP program because of the high cost (million dollars per shell) so real-life Zumwalts are stuck with inoperable guns without any ammunition. Despite this, in the game, the AGS does not feature projectile guidance.

This ship is the final reward in the Battle Pass which means you can get it for free.

Aircraft

Pan Spatial Dragon Wing

This new helicopter designed by Pan Spatial looks more like a VTOL-capable strike fighter than a helicopter. It features a powerful railgun, air-to-ground missiles and an air-defense missile. However, the cannon has an overheat mechanic which means if you fire it continuously, you will need to wait a few seconds for the weapon to cool down. This helicopter is part of the VIP Battle Pass.

TB-001A Scorpion

This Chinese drone has very similar statistics and armament like the rare CH-4 Rainbow, which was only purchasable for a few days as part of a bundle. Both drones feature missile armament along with one laser-guided bomb. This makes using them very easy and comfortable. The Scorpion drone is part of the VIP Battle Pass.

Su-25 UBP Frogfoot

This Soviet strike fighter is located in tier II. It has slow speed and poor maneuveribility but it has improved durability and can deal a lot of damage, just like the A-10 Thunderbolt II. The Frogfoot can be obtained as part of the Free Battle Pass.

Weapons

Bofors M/42 (152mm)

This Swedish automatic cannon is of World War II vintage but that doesn’t make it any less dangerous. Its performance is somewhere between TMF 155 (155 mm) and Koalitsiya-F (152 mm). It fires two rounds in a burst with the same low delay as the Koalitsiya-F. However, its reloading time is somewhere between TMF and Koalitsiya-F. It seems like a rather effective cannon and it can be obtained through the VIP Battle Pass.

Seahawk Sigma (30mm)

This is an interesting weapon. While it goes in the autocannon slot, it functions more like an air defense system like Garpun or Pantsir because it has both missiles and guns and can target both air and surface targets. It also has very good range compared to anti-air autocannons like RAPIDFire, Type-30 JEAG or Typhoon MLS-NLOS. This makes this weapon a good choice for ships that have few air defense slots to increase their anti-air capability. This autocannon is part of the Premium Battle Pass.

Camouflages

The update includes three new Christmas-themed camouflages that can be obtained through the Battle Pass.

Magical Realm

This camouflage features a winter scene with animated falling snow. It has a weird shader effect: the painting always faces the camera regardless of the angle. The camo is part of the VIP Battle Pass.

Wild Bond

This camo features a blue pattern with animated glowing orbs. It’s a Premium Battle Pass item.

Blizzard

The Blizzard camouflage has a white snowflake texture on it. However, there is not animated effect. It can be obtained as part of the Free Battle Pass.

Avatars

Three new winter-themed player avatars have been added to the game. They can be obtained through the Battle Pass.

Fabian Keller (Premium Battle Pass)

Fredrik Martinsson (Free Battle Pass)

Victor Dumont (Premium Battle Pass)
