Historical information
Real
The General Atomics MQ-9 Reaper is a turboprop-driven unmanned aerial vehicle used by the United States Air Force. The drone entered service in 2007 and can carry various munitions, such as GBU-12 Paveway guided bombs and AGM-114 Hellfire missiles. The Reaper became emblematic of the Global War on Terror due to controversial drone strikes conducted during the Obama administration, including reported strikes on wedding parties in Afghanistan and Yemen.
