X-49 SpeedHawk
A new helicopter type project from the Pathfinder program. The design included not only the installation of a powerful missile armament but also a three-bladed, cowled pusher propeller with control surfaces at the exit. This ensured high speed and enhanced stability in gusty winds.

Concept/Prototype
Piasecki X-49 SpeedHawk was an experimental American compound helicopter. It was based on the Sikorsky SH-60 Seahawk and featured a pusher propeller for increased speed. The X-49 made its first flight in 2007, but the program never progressed beyond the prototype stage.
