Concept/Prototype
The Future Combat Air System (FCAS) was a European project for a sixth-generation stealth fighter. Started in 2017, it was a joint project between France, Germany and Spain. Primary project contractors were Dassault and Airbus. A mock-up of the aircraft was displayed in 2019 at the Paris Air Show. However, the aircraft project was cancelled in 2026 due to disagreements between different project stakeholders.
