Concept/Prototype
Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP) is a multinational project to develop a sixth-generation fighter jet. It is a collaboration between the United Kingdom, Japan and Italy. The project merges the UK's Tempest program and Japan's F-X (F-3) program. First flight of the prototype is expected in late 2020s.
