The KSAM model in Modern Warships is based on the launcher used for the LOGIR (Low-Cost Guided Imaging Rocket) system, also referred to as Poniard or Bigung. Developed by the South Korean defense firm LIG Nex1, the system employs a 70mm guided rocket. It is operated by the naval forces of South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia. Although its main purpose is to target enemy surface ships, it can also be used against drones, helicopters, and slow-moving cruise missiles as a secondary function.
