Akash-NG is an Indian surface-to-air missile (SAM) system developed by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). It is a successor to the earlier Akash missile system. Indian Air Force completed Akash-NG trials in late 2025 and the system is expected to enter service in the near future.
