LRHW Dark Eagle is a hypersonic weapon system under development by the US Army. LRHW stands for Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon. The US Navy is adapting the system for use on Zumwalt-class destroyers, where it will be designated as IR-CPS (Intermediate-Range Conventional Prompt Strike).
