Concept/Prototype
The Piranha is a 324 mm lightweight torpedo from Indonesia, reportedly developed by state-owned shipbuilder PT PAL for anti-submarine warfare in confined waters. It was first test-fired in 2025 from the KSOT autonomous submarine prototype, as a practice torpedo launched from an external tube. Its propulsion and seeker have not been disclosed.
