Concept/Prototype
The Spearfish Mod 1 is a prototype of a next-generation torpedo being tested by the British Royal Navy. It is intended to replace the Spearfish torpedo currently in service. In 2024, the new torpedo was successfully tested aboard a Vanguard-class nuclear-powered ballistic missile submarine.
