Concept/Prototype
AN/SEQ-3 Laser Weapon System is a directed energy weapon developed by the US Navy. The system was deployed on the USS Ponce (LPD-15) in 2014 for testing and evaluation. However, the system was never put into mass production and will be replaced by the HELIOS (High Energy Laser and Integrated Optical-dazzler with Surveillance).
