CN Type 051B Shenzhen

An experimental Luhai-class destroyer with modular construction. It was designed to deepen the experience of Chinese engineers in naval design and create a universal vessel with fleet command and control system, capable of acting as a flagship in case of need. The ship was refitted several times and participated in anti-piracy raids. The design was proved successful and later become the baseline for the Type 051C destroyer.
