CN Type 051B Shenzhen
An experimental Luhai-class destroyer with modular construction. It was designed to deepen the experience of Chinese engineers in naval design and create a universal vessel with fleet command and control system, capable of acting as a flagship in case of need. The ship was refitted several times and participated in anti-piracy raids. The design was proved successful and later become the baseline for the Type 051C destroyer.

Type 051B Shenzhen is a guided-missile destroyer of the PLA Navy, commissioned in 1999. It was an experimental design, only one of its class was built. In 2016, the destroyer went through modernization: the ship was equipped with YJ-12 missiles and an HHQ-16 system for air defense.
