Historical information
Real
Jiujiang (516) served the People's Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) as a Type 053H frigate. Built by the Hudong shipyard in Shanghai in 1975, it carried the name Changsha until 1981. Its anti-ship missile launchers were removed in 2002 and five 50-tube 122 mm rocket launchers were fitted, turning the ship into a fire support vessel for bombarding the shore during amphibious landings. The ship was decommissioned in 2018. In the game, the model is designated as 515, but it is based on Jiujiang (516).
