The Choe Hyon-class destroyer is the latest and most advanced KPA Navy vessel of the DPRK. The first ship of the class, "Choe Hyon" was launched in early 2025. The second ship, "Kang Kon" was to be launched later in the same year. However due to an accident during the ceremony, the launching had to be postponed.
