Historical information
Admiral Basisty was a Soviet anti-submarine destroyer of the Udaloy II-class (Project 1155.1) that was never completed. Named after the Soviet admiral Nikolai Basisty, it was laid down in 1991 as the second ship of the class after Admiral Chabanenko. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union the order was cancelled in 1993 and the unfinished hull was broken up on the slipway. Admiral Chabanenko remains the only ship of the Udaloy II-class ever completed.
