ROKS CVX

The CVX was South Korea's project for its first aircraft carrier, a light carrier for fighter jets and helicopters. It began as a plan to replace the navy's Dokdo-class amphibious assault ships, but was redesigned as a true carrier with no dock for landing craft. At MADEX 2021 two shipbuilders presented rival designs: Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) with a flat-deck ship and Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) with a ski-jump and twin islands. The in-game ship is based on the HHI proposal. In May 2025 the program was suspended and redirected toward a command ship for unmanned aircraft.
