Real
Project 903 (better known as the Lun-class ekranoplan) was a 380-ton missile-carrying ground-effect vehicle (GEV). It was designed in 1975 by Rostislav Alexeyev of the Central Hydrofoil Design Bureau and built at the Volga shipyard in Gorky for the Soviet Navy. The RF Loon in-game is based on the MD-160, the only completed warship of its class.
