The S41 Tiger was the lead ship of the Tiger-class fast attack craft (Type 148), a Lürssen design originally intended for the Israeli Navy that was built in France and went to the German Navy after the export was blocked. Commissioned in 1972, it was later decommissioned twice: first in 1998 by Germany, and finally in 2014 by Chile.
