Here are the patch notes for Modern Warships December update (v0.58), also known as Terra Uncharted. The patch notes and images are provided as a courtesy of the developer.

Patch notes

🚢 Added FS Ocean Avenger ship (T3) (Battle Pass), armament:

1) Missiles 1×1
2) Missiles 1×1
3) OCAV-155 Cannon 1×1 (locked slot)
4) Drone 1×1
5) Drone 1×1
6) Helicopter
7) Autocannon 1×4
8) NASAMS – Minesweeper Type Air Defense 1×4 (locked slot)

Features:

The first of its kind, a symbiosis of a destroyer and an aircraft carrier. This ship has a powerful defensive offensive armament on board, as well as a flight deck to accommodate drones.

✈️ Added SR-72 Dark Star bomber (T3) (Battle Pass), armament:

1) HAWC hypersonic missile 1×4
2) HAAWK MK-54 torpedoes gliding towards target 1×2
3) GBU-39 bomb 1×1

Features:

Maximum speed limit. Can detect submarines in submerged position.

🛩️ Added P.125 fighter (T3) ( Battle Pass), armament:

1) Two integrated GAU-13A machine guns for aviation operations
2) AIM-120A missiles. There are 6 missiles in the clip, it can be launched in pairs in manual mode

Features:

First fighter with variable thrust vector, can hover in the air. Only one in a squadron, but with boosted health and damage.

🚁 Added EC-665 Tiger helicopter (T3) (Battle Pass), armament:

1) GiatAM – powerful 30mm cannon.
2) MAST-F – container with two powerful missiles against ships
3) HOT3 – a kind of anti-tank guided missile, fires at ships
4) Aircraft Sea Venom – anti-ship missile
5) LAU-61 – container with unguided rockets

Features:

Increased target detection radius.

🚀 Added Typhoon MLS-NLOS missile system (T3) (Battle Pass), features:

Fires missiles against air targets as well as surface targets.

🎉 Added a unique “Jollly” skin for ROKS Jeongio the Great. We have never made more technological skin. New Year’s mood is guaranteed! 🥳

New mechanics and reworking of old ones

Ships from the market are now available in test drive mode.

Number of consumables for each tier has been revised. More of them are available for T3!

Winter has come and it snowed on the game maps. And it keeps on coming! 🌨️

Added Chinese voiceover.

We have launched a micro cinematic manager in the game (some units will appear on the battlefield with a cinematic inset). We will test these mechanics in the upcoming event.

We have decorated our port for the New Year holidays. Welcome! 🎅

Bugfixes

Several edits on the ships’ camouflages (the way they are mapped on certain types of equipment)

Several edits on the placement of certain types of weapons on different ships.

Levels of players in the room could be displayed incorrectly. Fixed this point.

Fixed bug in tutorial. When skipping first battle in ships section, only tutorial ships were showing.

There were a lot of reports about non-calculated dailies when the necessary conditions were fulfilled. Worked on this as well.

Returned push notifications from our game on all platforms.

Fixed localization of several languages.

Fixed a bug for missiles that had more than one in a salvo. If you break the sight, some of the missiles flew into the sky.

Fixed missile hit indicator on the ship (didn’t work before).

The missile interface has been revised and improved.

The end-of-round interface has been redesigned. Now it can contain the rewards which are disbursed in battle as items. These rewards will appear later in the event.

Tanks

Development is underway. Testing the first builds of the game with tanks within mobile devices. Quite playable even now! 😋

Server

Work on the new Battle Server is almost complete. The updated server will reduce latency in battles and allow us to fine-tune matchmaking!

Balance changes

1) Daily missions have been reduced in difficulty, especially missions with destroying air units, now it will be easier to pass them. But at the same time we have made a number of changes, such as reducing the number of upgrades, cost and experience.

2) Several changes were made to improve the game’s economy over the long term:

  • Reduced the amount of experience needed to reach a new level. Now it will be easier to raise a level in the initial stages.
  • Consumables: changed price, reduced number of repair sets you will get on purchase.

3) Disabled accrual of parameter “Tournament Victories” in in-game tournament. Updated tournament is in development and will be added later.

4) USS Massachusetts. Fixed the bug with the grenade launcher firing at one point, but slightly reduced gun rotation speed.

5) SR-72 Dark Star.

  • Constant speed can now be reduced from 20 to 15 units, allowing more missiles to be launched.
  • Maneuverability increased from 35 to 50
  • HAWC: reduced reload time (-1 sec), damage buff (+1000 damage), reduced delay between shots (-0.5 sec)
  • HAAWK: damage buff (+1000/unit)
